easychem software package provides Draw high-quality molecules and 2D chemical formulas, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install easychem
easychem is installed in your system.
Make ensure the easychem package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep easychem *
You will get with easychem package name, version, architecture and description in a table
